You have been staying with your elder brother for sometime and a misunderstanding has ensued. Write a letter to your father giving, at least, three reasons why you feel you can no longer live with your brother.

I’m indeed very happy to write this letter to you. How are you and my mummy sir? I hope you are all fine; if so glory be to God.

Dad, I am writing this letter with sadness because my staying with brother Femi is becoming something I never bargained for. First and foremost, his wife whom you think is the one teaching him all bad things he’s doing to me is not the one after all. Though she has her own problems but brother Femi himself is a big case.

As you have known before, the last time we fought over food that I refused to eat what his wife gave me to eat because it was an eyesore, a left over, you settled it and we continued. This time around, brother Femi has changed to drinking beer and he always come home dead drunk. The problem associated with this drinking and late arrival from work goes beyond my imagination.

Every morning of the second day of his drunkenness is a problem of “somebody has stolen my money”. He would not remember how he had spent the previous night and start accusing myself and his wife. Before I know that is happening, barrages of slaps would have poured on me. This has happened so many times that I have become a laughing stock in our hours.

The third reason why I would no longer live with them again is that my brother no more trust me over his escapades with women whenever his wife catches him. The wife sees me as his errand boy to the women and if this continues, I might cause a fight between the two of them.

Finally dad, I am using this medium to inform you that, now that I have finished my school certificate examination, I shall by the grace of God return to you and leave my brother and his wife alone.
