A Letter to the Principal Informing Him of The Recent Acts of Bulling By Senior Students by : 4:59 am On June 25, 2018

As a concerned student, write a letter to the Principal of your school informing him of recent acts of bullying by senior students and suggesting ways of arresting the situation.

I write to inform as a concerned student of this our great school ‘Gbaja Community High School of the kind of bullying by the senior students, to their junior.

It started as a child’s play when a senior student will call a junior and beg for money or provision such as milk, butter, sardine or students’ savior-garri. Willingly, such junior will give out but now, it has become a force by the senior ones to take those things from their junior students. Where this is not given, such a junior will be punished on filmy excuses such as bringing Garri to school that it is against the rules.

Recently, this habit has now escalated into petty-robbery by senior students calling on any junior that passes through the senior block to be ‘arrested’ and ransacked during which any money found on them becomes ‘impounded’ as a bail to their offence of going through the senior block.

Most of the juniors are now wise and are thus forming groups to foment trouble with the seniors anytime from next week Monday. It is in the light of this that I write to you to nib the problem in the bud before it grows into fruition.

I therefore suggest that one, before any senior should punish a junior student, report must first be made to the hostel master or the class teacher who will investigate and take the right action.

Secondly, junior students should have access to the hostel masters so as to report directly what used to happen to them.

Finally, sir call all the seniors to order so as not to make the  junior students become wild so that they will not disrupt all academic works because of tier annoyance.
