Wizkid is probably the best Artist in Nigeria. As a result, most people would like to know all the songs ever made by the star boy.  This post has been written specifically for that.

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known by his stage name as Wizkid or Star Boy, was born in Surulere, Lagos state, Nigeria in 1990.

He is a wealthy singer and a songwriter as well. He began his musical career at the age of 11 when he was a member of a group known as the ‘Glorious Five.’ This group was founded by Wizkid and some of his associates whom they all attend the same church.

The gifted artist released a collaborative album alongside his peers who are part of the glorious five in 2007, though the album didn’t get much recognition as they were still upcoming artists by then.

Some sources have it that Wizkid signed a record deal with the Empire Mate Entertainment (EME) record label, owned by Mr Wellington, who is widely known as Banky W.

Being a newly signed artist in the record label, He released his first single which he dubbed  “Holla at Your Boy”. The song skyrocketed across the country and turned out to be the turning point for the 27-year-old singer.

From that moment, StarBoy has been dishing out lots of good songs and made himself a real superstar. He has won many awards both in Nigeria and beyond the shores of Africa. The award-winning artist has been dropping more singles and collaborations than releasing albums.

1. Super Star: The release of superstar album in 2011 actually made Naija dancefloor go wild. Mostly, one of his singles titled, “Holla At Your Boy” was being played at all every nook and cranny of the country. He was praised by all for delivering such interesting and lively lines.

2. Empire Mate State Of Mind: This album got released in 2012, he featured his employer Banky W and also his record label mate, they all worked for the success of this album. As at 2012 when the album was released, It drew the attention of his fans, the singles were accepted nationally.

3. Ayo: This means Joy in English, is another album that was released by the Artist but this time, under his own record label “star boy record label”. According to the singer, so many issues came up before the album was released, at that moment he also decamped from EME record label. The inspiration of this album came after he had settled all differences and decide to name it JOY.
