Now, you don’t have to be a nutritionist to know that apples are healthy. They don’t only come in their own package but also full of healthy nutrients. There are endless reasons to eat them.

Apples are one of the most popular fruits you can find, they are delicious and crunchy. Apples are extremely rich in antioxidants, flavanoids and dietary fiber. The phytonutrients and antioxidants in apples may reduce the risk of c****r, hypertension, diabetes and heart disease.

Apples have been linked with to a lower risk of heart disease because it contains soluble fibers which is the kind that can help lower your blood cholesterol levels. Apples contains good quantities of vitamin C and B-carotene . Vitamin C is a powerful natural antioxidant. Consumption of foods rich in vitamin C helps the body develop resistance against infectious agents and scavenge harmful, pro-inflamatory free radicals from the body.

Apples also carry small quantities of minerals like potassium, phosphorous,and calcium. Potassium is an important component of cell and body fluids, helps control heart rate and blood pressure, thus counters the bad influence of sodium.
