Hello there! Today, we are going to talk about how to open / create a Gmail (Google) account as a Student in Nigeria. The thing I experienced during this Year’s JAMB registration spurred me to write this post. It was very painful for me to see students paying as high as N500 to cyber Cafe’s just to Create a google account for them. Something, you can actually do with your phone, be it android or non-android.
As a Student in Nigeria, you should try as much as possible to learn how to do some certain things by yourself. Here, in this post, I will show you how to create a Gmail (Google) email address without paying any person or Cyber Cafe to do it for you.
To open Google Email Address ( Gmail Account), first enter www.gmail.com on your browser. Before you enter the website, put your phone in Incognito / Private Browsing so that google will not save any of your data in your phone or computer. Once the website loads, you will be required to log in to you account but at the end of the web page, there is a place written Create account. Click on it immediately.
Once it finished loading, you will be required to enter your mobile number. Endeavour to put an active phone number which you have access to because they will send a verification code to the number. Once you received the message, copy the code and go back straight to the page where you are doing the registration. paste the code there and click verify. If successful, you will see other details such as your username, names, security options etc.
If you can’t go through this process, you can contact us to open it for you?
