EFCC has arrested one of Nigeria’s rich Instagram celebrities, Ismaila Mustapha, a.k.a Mompha, for alleged involvement in internet-related fraud and money laundering.

He was arrested on Friday 18, October 2019 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on his way to Dubai Emirate following series of intelligence reports received by the Commission.

The Commission, on the point of Mompha’s arrest, recovered wristwatches worth over 20million naira.

Before being apprehended by the EFCC, Mompha was always seen flaunting money with his child on Instagram. He operates a verified Instagram account @Mompha.
