The federal Government of Nigeria through the direction President Buhari has announced the reduction in the price of JAMB, BECE and NECO exam forms.

President Buhari says that the examination bodies are not to use the form to generate revenue rather the cost of the form should only be used to cover its operating expenses.

Looking into the revenues generated by the examination bodies shows that the cost of the form can actually be reduced without affecting the running of the exam.

Hence, the Federal Government has reduced the cost of JAMB form from N5000 to N3500 and NECO from N11,350 to N9850.

The implementation of the price will take effect starting from January 2019
