Fireboy is signed to Olamide, the YBNL Boss. It was reported that Fireboy recently got into a controversy with his label mate, Lyta.

Lyta was not happy with Fireboy’s quick success and recognition. He said that he had not been treated well by his boss since the emergence of Fireboy.
