Still, on the #GSMWeek, here I will provide you with a step by step guide on how to block somebody from calling your mobile number or line.

Sometimes due to some reasons, the need for you to block somebody from calling your number may arise, hence it is important that you take advantage of this article and learn how to block a particular number from calling you.

Normally, we can easily block people, not somebody, from calling us by simply putting our phone on a flight mode or even switching it off. But when it comes to blocking a particular number from reaching our line, some of us are thrown into utter confusion.
This article, therefore, provides a shortcut for us to block any number from reaching our line.

The method you can use to block somebody from calling your line depends on the type of phone you are using. Android phones usually have a number of apps that you can use to block or blacklist a number on your phone.

Considering that not everybody uses an android phone, I will provide a general code that can be used to block somebody from calling your line on any phone whether iPhone, Android or otherwise.

Here is the code: whenever you don’t want to receive a call from anybody while your phone is on, just dial **002*0000# or dial **21*0000#. To cancel the code, dial ##002# or dial ##21#

That’s all for blocking everybody from calling your number. But then, here is the code to block a particular number, person or line from calling your number; dial *002*the person’s number(don’t include the last number) and then #. You can also do it this way; dial **21* the person’s number (don’t include the last number) and #.

Note: don’t leave it permanent because it may affect other incoming calls, though it depends on the phone.
