|HYPERTENSION by adeyemi ruth a.: 11:34 am On August 2, 2018|
It should be noted that hypertension can exist in an individual for years without symptoms, however, that does not mean that the raised pressure is not causing damage to the heart, blood vessels and other organs within the body.
It may however give a range if symptoms which usually include: dizziness, headaches, altered vision, fainting attacks etc.
It has been documented that hypertension is a major risk factor for Stroke, Chronic Kidney Disease, Heart failure, Aneurysms etc.
The second type is Secondary Hypertension which is hypertension caused by an underlying condition in the body. This type tends to occur suddenly. This may be due to kidney problems, thyroid problems, alcohol abuse etc.
Age: risk increases with increasing age
Eat healthy: fruits, vegetables, low-fat diary food, whole grain, low salt intake, fish etc
Medications: There are different classes of d***s that can be used but you should see your doctor for proper consultation.Tags: Adeyemi Ruth A1 ,ESSAY
