We have received a lot of calls from fans asking to know whether Earboard is still working and to know if they should still keep referring people to this site knowing that we are running some update on the overall site. This post tends to provide answers to the above question.

We understand that you are becoming impatient to see the site back again to its normal state but we can’t really fast forward the whole process just to meet your demands. However,  we want to assure you that we are working on the site and sooner than later we will be back  for better business.

What to expect after the site upgrading:

• There will no longer be fixed amount for article publication; you will be paid based on the content of the article and on the scale of 0.2USD to 5USD per article approved.
• All payments will be calculated using United States Official currency , USD (in dollars)
• Foreign publishers will be able to participate in Earboard.
• All articles will be moderated before approval.
• Once article gets approved, the payment for the article will reflect immediately on your affiliate area / dashboard.
• Referral earnings will be  increased from 0.01USD to 0.2USD per person referred.
• HTTP cookie expiry date for referral link will be extended from 10days to 30 days; hence, if somebody clicks your referral link but registered after 28 days of clicking your affiliate link, you will still be paid for the referral since the cookie appended on the person’s browsers has not expired!
• Paypal payment integration for both  foreign and local publishers will be made available.
• Improvement on security; users will have to take reCAPTCHA test while registering and logging in to Earboard.
• Email verification: all newly registered member will have to verify their email before their account becomes valid.
• Fans will be able to read latest news, download musics and get latest technological update on Earboard.
• There will be a manual to help you understand how Earboard works and how to optimally utilize the resources in the site

All these we hope to achieve within this period of  site upgrading and this does not mark the end of Earboard rather it marks the beginning of a new Earboard! You can still keep referring your friends to this site but all payments are currently deferred till we are done with the upgrading.
