Manchester United Wants Boateng on a loan deal only?
There has been very little activity from manchester United in this transfer window although mourinho has stressed on the need to strenghten the team. Manchester United have been trying to bring in Jerome Boateng to Old Trafford to strengthen their backline but only on loan deal, according to sources.
The German international has been Mourinho No 1 choice recruit – but privately behind the scenes at United, there are fears over a permanent contract for the player who has a chequered history of injuries.
Jerome Boateng, 29, suffered muscle and tendon injuries over the past three seasons, and missed about 27 games since December 2016.
During the last season, he suffered a hamstring injury in April, which almost cost him a chance to feature in Germany’s dismal World Cup campaign in Russia. Do you think he is the right choice?
United player Sanchez has tasked the club to make good signings and not just good but quality signings if they are to have a chances to compete with elite teams this season. United really need to act fast as their top opponents have made some interesting signings not forgetting that Chelsea just signed Kepa for a record fee, teams such as Arsenal, Manchester city have also made interesting signatures.
With the likes of Harry Maguire whose signature is uncertain and as things stand, Yerry Mina’s chances of coming to Old Trafford look increasingly slim as Barcelona would want to snatch Paul Pogba from United. The player has reportedly told United he wants to join barca and have dropped conditions if he is to stay. United for sure are not planning on releasing Pogba to Barcelona.
In line with all these, Chief executive Ed Woodward has made funds available to Mourinho but he is determined not to pay over the odds in the current market.
We do hope they make good signings before the transfer window closes …..uhhhhhh…..wait that’s today…..ooopsssss.
