Today, every Ben, Chuks and Taiwo Obalande is rushing into the music industry or showbiz as it is popularly called for 2 major reasons. It’s the money or the fame but trust Nigerians, it’s all about the money, fame can come later. Music has turned out to be one of the most lucrative occupations of the modern world; even a kid on the street can boldly tell you that our top artists are multi millionaires. They drive very expensive Porsche cars, live in the most expensive mansions, own most of the biggest and thriving companies in the society and are well respected people in the society. No wonder the rushing!.

In this life money brings power and respect, money commands everything, this is why hundreds of thousands of youths today will hurriedly venture into any business or career they deem lucrative or that pays well. Though a very lucrative occupation, music as a career is not a bed of roses, like the popular saying, ‘nothing good comes easy’. If you really want to be a successful and very rich musician, you need to be on top of your game, be ready to work very hard. You can have a very wonderful voice but if you don’t rehearse regularly, you will be shocked to discover you can’t sing very well, even if you manage to, some notes or keys might be very difficult for you. This is why regular practice, voice training is very important for any aspiring artist. Even when you realize that you have become perfect, you still need to keep practicing, knowledge is an endless journey.

Do you know that despite how sweet and angelic the voice of the iconic and legendary Michael Jackson sounded, he still forces himself to practice eight hours per day. That is why during his time, no one dares compete with the king of pop. He was actually the king of music.
