The 2018 / 2019 JAMB UTME registration has started. The aim of this post is to guide you through the JAMB registration processes. You will also learn the cost of 2018 JAMB and other necessary payments you will make for the registration .

Below is a step by step guide on how to register 2018/2019 JAMB. This guide will help you learn how to create Jamb Profile, how to get ePINS, where to make payments for your JAMB registration and lots of other things.

STEP 1
You will have to create a confirmation code with your phone. You can create it by sending your “Surname, FirstName & OtherName” to 55019. You will be cut N50 for the sms so make sure you have up to N50 airtime before sending the code. It is advisable that you send the code with your own mobile number. After you have sent you names to the code, JAMB will send you a confirmation message which contains a code. Copy out the code.

STEP 2
Now go to any bank (FirstBank, UBA, UNION BANK etc) near your area to purchase the JAMB ePIN. Don’t feel shy when you reach to the bank; ask any of the bank staff for instruction on how to generate JAMB ePIN. Normally, you will be directed to the person in charge of the service in the bank. You will be asked to provide the Confirmation Code that JAMB sent you. They will use the code to generate your ePIN.

STEP 3
After you have successfully purchased the JAMB ePIN, go to any accredited JAMB CBT Center you know. They will ask you to provide you O’ Level Results, JAMB ePIN, Confirmation Code and your passports(Some may snap you with the laptop).

STEP 4
Once they have completed the registration, you will be given a print out of the registration and the compulsory story book. Please, don’t forget to ask for the story book if they don’t give you the book after registration.

Cost
JAMB ePIN and the Story book will cost you N5000. You will pay N700 to the bank for generating the JAMB ePIN. Thereafter, you will pay N700 to the CBT center where you you did your registeration. In conclusion, everything will cost you N6200.
