Alhaji Gombe, who spoke during a consultative meeting with WAEC, principals/ proprietors of private and public schools in Kano, said the issue required a concerted effort to tackle.

The Director disclosed that no fewer than 97 schools received warning letters, while 24 were derecognised by the examination body due to examination malpractice last year.

In a speech during the meeting organised by WAEC, the branch controller, Kano WAEC office, Mr. Zubairu Ayodele, disclosed that henceforth WAEC results will be released within 60 days of the last exam.
