WWW.Waecdirect.org is the official website for West African Examinations Council. You can check your WAEC result, do your online registration etc on the website.

There are two types of results you can check on the website. They are: private candidate results and public candidates results.

The private candidates results are for GCE candidates. Note that WAEC GCE is written two times in a year. The first one occurs in January while the main WAEC GCE takes place between September and October. If you participated in any of the two, then select Private Candidate Results.

Having talked about the WAEC Private Candidate Results, the Public candidates Results is simply the opposite. It is for candidates who wrote in public and private schools. It is regarded as the main WAEC. Candidates who participated in it are to select Public Candidate while checking their results.

Note that a scratch card is required for you to check your results, hence ensure to purchase one. You will need the scratch card serial and pin number.

Another thing to note when checking your WAEC Result is the exam year. Ensure to put the correct year otherwise you won’t see your results.
