Most people have this common belief that University degree can either make or Mar you but here, I put it this way, education can only make you. Does it sound funny? Read below to know why I put it like that.

Regardless of whatever reason, one might have, you can never underestimate the power and value that comes with having university qualification(s). Just imagine how a nation would look like if the leaders and the citizenry are not educated, you can bet that it will be a colossal disaster.

It is rather unfortunate that many students in the university today are constantly nursing the idea of dropping out, perhaps because they’ve seen people who dropped out of university and still make it big in life. They will even go as far as telling you that so many that did not even attended university are somewhat richer and civilized than those that have university qualification(s).

I have listened to numerous students citing Microsoft boss, Bill Gates and Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg as prototypical examples of people that made it huge in life despite not having a university degree. Worst case is that these students must have seen so many graduates struggling woefully to make ends meet whereas the non- university certificate holder is doing just great. But those students fail to understand one keyword which is “DESTINY” destinies, of course, are different, likewise abilities. What worked for Mr A might not work for Mr B. Furthermore, irrespective of the fact that so many people made it in life without a university degree does not label a university degree as being worthless.

The civilization and sanity of a nation rest on the shoulders of education. Imagine a nation without education, where the leaders of the nation are just first school leaving certificate holders; then you will rest assured that such nation will be disoriented, disorganized and lack values in different sectors of the nation especially the economy of the said nation.

If you are already a university student, stay in school, stay focused regardless of the stress of school work, just see it as fun. If you are yet to gain admission, work hard and get admitted into your choice institution. Just so you know, many people out there are wishing they had a university degree, so make good use of the opportunity since having a university degree will open so many doors for you thereby developing yourself and also makes you contribute your quota to the development of your country.
