President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a message to all the sponsors of the new protest tagged “Revolution Now”. In a statement delivered by Garba Shehu, he said that he will not tolerate any form of violent protest.

He, however, stated that every Nigerian has a right for peaceful protest but not a violent attack disguised under “Revolution Now”.

He reminded the sponsors of the Revolution Now that it is only through the ballot box voting that any person or group has the right to change any government.

“The ballot box is the only constitutional means of changing government and a president in Nigeria. The days of coups and revolutions are over”.
