We’ve all experienced a Google Play Store problem at some point, Whether it’s an error message when downloading apps, the Play Store crashes or simply won’t open, You can’t download or install apps or games from the Google Play Store.

These are the following steps to take:

  1. Check if you have a strong Wi-Fi or mobile data connection:

It will be good if you can connect to a Wi-Fi network. If you don’t have access to Wi-Fi, make sure you have a strong mobile data connection. Then try your download again.

You can clear the cache storage by opening your device’s Settings>> App Settings>> Tap on Apps & notifications and then See all apps>> Scroll down and tap Google Play Store>> Tap Storage and then Clear Cache>> Next, tap Clear data.

Re-open the Play Store & try your download again. This could solve your problem and empting it is easy.

  1. Check for storage availability:

Open the Settings>> Select Device Maintenance>> Select Storage at the bottom of the screen. Check the available storage. If your device has less than 1GB of storage available, you will need to free up some space.

  1. Reset the download manager:

Open the Settings>> select Apps>> Select the 3 dot menu button on the top right-hand side and tap Show system apps>> Scroll down and select Download Manager. Check that the app is enabled (we want the option to show as Disable)>> Select Force Stop to shut down just this app. This won’t affect any information on the device.
