You need the JAMB Registration Form e-Pin to register for 2019 JAMB UTME. Without the e-pin, no accredited CBT registration centre can process your request. Again, before you can pay for your e-pin, you must have a profile code. All this might appear confusing and that is why I have created this article. In this post, I will show you how to get your e-pin to enable you to register for 2019 UTME.

Below are the steps that you should follow to get your e-pin;

1. First step to get your JAMB e-pin involves sending an SMS message with your personal mobile phone number to 55019. This how the message format should be; [Surname, First Name & Middle Name (if any)] by text (SMS) to 55019. Each name should be separated by a space e.g Eze John Obi (The message should not be more than 40 characters).
2. Once you send the message, a profile code will be sent back to you. Write it down in a safe place.
3. Then go to the Bank for the procurement of your JAMB form. After paying the required amount of money, you will be asked to provide your profile code. With the profile code, your JAMB form e-pin will be sent to the number you used to create your profile code.
4. Now, with the e-pin, you are half done with your JAMB registration. Go to any accredited JAMB CBT center with the e-pin sent to you for your JAMB registration.
5. With the e-pin, you will then be registered.

It is advisable to wait until the registration begins on 10th January before performing any of the procedures above. The above information is just to give you a clue about how the registration will be done.

With this announcement, all prospective candidates are advised to kick start their preparation towards  the 2019 UTME, which begins in March. For a start, candidates are advised to use the 2019 JAMB Brochure, to confirm the courses they intend to study, requirements and  schools that offer such  courses. Also, the 2019 JAMB Syllabus  will help guide you on the topics you are required to cover for the subjects you will be taking in 2019 UTME.
