How to solve Cloudflare’s Invalid SSL Certificate in the Origin Server by : 5:07 am On June 30, 2018

If you are a regular user in this forum, you must have observed that Earboard.com was offline for the past 24hours. And the issue came from Invalid SSL certificate in our origin server. The error occurs usually on sites that have activated Cloudflare’s full strict ssl certificate.

Now, this is what happened; Cloudflare from time to time issue new certificates to their users. But because this certificate is from a third party, Cpanel cannot automatically upgrade the old certificate in your origin server.

So what do you do? Solving the problem is as easy as abc. All you need to do is to login to your Cpanel account, click on TLS OR SSL certificate, scroll down and click on manage ssl certificate. Under this setting, you will see where they wrote update certificate. Click on it, then on the next page, insert the new certificate issued by cloudflare and then update. That’s all! Your site should be working after that
