The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has banned Cyber Cafes from doing registration of Jamb prospective candidates. The board claims that Cyber cafes are usually extorting money from the candidates, thereby misrepresenting the board’s direction. Jamb also complained that most errors in candidates’ details were caused by Cyber Cafes. The board Chairman, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, said that the 2019 Jamb registration will be carried out only by the accredited JAMB CBT centers. He made mention that there are 718 accredited JAMB CBT centres in the country. Meanwhile the sale of Jamb registration forms will be starting on 3 January 2019.
