The latest news on this has it that the strike will continue indefinitely. The last meeting between the Federal Government and ASUU, as reported by Daily Post, ended in a deadlock. By implication, the strike will continue.

In addition to the ASUU strike,  a more general strike has surfaced following Federal Government directives to close down all schools in Nigeria to help curb the spread of the deadly disease, Corona Virus. Henceforth, all schools in Nigeria are on a Corona break.
