A 40-year old man identified as Julius Olele was arrested in Lagos for recording police officers allegedly collecting bribes from motorists. The police claimed that he was depriving them the choice and personal liberty to privacy while on lawful “duty“.

News has it that Mr Julius Olele saw the police officers at the time they were allegedly collecting bribes and then decided to record the event. Unfortunately, he was caught and charged with depriving them the right to privacy while on lawful “duty”.

Mr Olelel pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
