The headquarters of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) is on fire.

The building is located at Olusegun Obasanjo Way, Wuse Zone 7, Abuja, the nation’s capital.

The fire Outbreak started around 6.30 a.m.
However, it was gathered that the fire service officials were seen working to put out the inferno.

They reportedly broke windows, as they tried to gain access to some parts of the building.

The fire has now been brought under control.

According to a witness who spoke to journalists, an electrical fault is suspected to be the cause of the fire outbreak.
