I was on my up the hills at abeokuta , some many miles away from my parents domicile, I haven’t walked 50miles away from home when my visual senses caught the glimpse of a petite lady, fairly short, and of a slimming elegance, somewhat so awesome in her extravagantly colourful pleated skirts finely flared at the very edges, her blouse made a curvier decency that any right thinking man would love to LOOK and RE~ LOOK. Compassion grieved me, I was swallowing hard,, my eye balls frazzled, my emotions became affective as I moved each inch closer to her,, finally I bypassed her only to discover that she’s a sickle cell anemia patient with a bulgy red eye,ominous ear lobes and pathetic looks… Then all of a sudden every of my emotional attachment with her, died down instantly.. There’s something to learn, isn’t it,, OK let me start by saying.. JUDGEMENT FROM AFAR IS NOTHING BUT SELF DECEPTION.. There are people who look cranky and unfriendly from afar, as a matter of fact you already hate them for nothing but for their ugly looks, that’s is not how it works.. MOVE CLOSE TO PEOPLE BEFORE JUDGING THEM.. in fact,, one of my best friends today, was never a handsome, nice looking guy but yet a great intellectual I respect so much,, at first I thought him to be one beastly personality until later.. You too have overtime so much misread people! !we are all guilty.. stop assigning judgement to people you don’t even know anything about.. WHAT SOMEONE TOLD YOU ABOUT HIM, IS NOT AS IMPORTANT AS WHAT YOU DISCOVERED ABOUT HIM.. Some of us, make our life’s biggest mistake by been friends to a person based on the good attestation you got about him from another person.. Anyway, if I hadn’t move closer to that girl who looks angelic from afar I would have concluded she’s a perfect material for my possession and a perfect match for a gentleman like me.. Lol…however, on the other hand.. DON’T CONDEMN PEOPLE BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU FEEL ABOUT THEM.. I heard someone say ”I feel he is just too full of himself and egotistical ” that’s nothing but mere feelings and not who the person really is.. As a matter of fact the person in question was a friend who is so far away from such attitude… In conclusion.. If you can’t say something good about someone you don’t know fully well, why not save yourself some talking energy or say talk stress.. Keep quite.
