Nigerian Paypal account can now send and receive money. At first, it was completely impossible to receive payment with a Nigerian Paypal account. Thank Goodness, Paypal has introduced a new feature known as Business Account. With Paypal business account, you can send and receive payment as a Nigerian. The business account comes with other features but some of the features are still in beta mode as of the time of writing this article.

To create a Paypal business account in Nigeria, simply enter Paypal.com/ng and click on the business account . Please, use laptop when doing your registeration. I have heard some people complaining that they can’t find the Business account option. To make it easier for you, when you enter the site use ctrl f and search for business. Then click on the business link and complete your registeration. There is no option to upgrade your personal account to business or merchant account. So it is advisable to use a new email while creating the business account. Note that there are still some limitations to the account. You cannot add bank to your business account or receive payment with your website. Like I said earlier, some features of the Paypal business account are still in beta mode. However, we hope that all the other features will become functional in no distant time.
