Ultimate Fix for WordPress White Screen of Death by : 1:07 am On May 13, 2018

Having been on WordPress for 3 years now, I think I am in a good position to provide solutions to some wordpress problems. White screen of death is something no blogger would ever like to experience. The white screen is simply an empty white screen page. Why the problem is regarded as one of the most difficult issues on WordPress, is simply because the white screen doesn’t provide any clue to what really caused it. While I was browsing online, I saw a lot of discussions on this very issue. But having been on wordpress for a while , I will provide you with the solution that solves 99% of  the wordpress white screen of death.

The truth is that most wordpress white screen of death occurs as a result of human error while coding. Listen, as a blogger and as wordpress blogger, be careful with how  you edit any code in your theme or wordpress root diretory. Why I am saying this, is because most people usually like to play arround to see what will happen. If you want to test a code on your website, make sure you have already tested the code on a testing website before moving the code to your live website.

Now, let me show you the quick fix for wordpress white screen of death. From my experience, I will go straight to the exact fix that usually solve the problem.  The wordpress white screen of death usually occurs as a result of corrupt function.php file. Function.php could be corrupt simply because of a space on the file. Normally, it is not advisable to leave empty spaces between the codes in your function.php. To solve this problem, either login to your Cpanel, click on the wp-content, then the theme and edit the function.php file of your theme. Check to see if there is space between codes. If there is any space, make sure you delete it. Then come to the bottom of the codes in your file and check if there is any space after your closing php tag. This may not be clear… But the normal thing is to check and see if there is any number after your closing php tag. For example, if your closing php tag in the function file is labelled 20 and when you look through the file you see another line number 21 or 22 but no code in it though. That is a space, you have to move your cursor and delete it.

This fix has solved a lot of wordpress white screen if death. If yours was not solved using this method, then put the problem in the comment form below for help.
