Waec Grading System in Ghana , Nigeria , Sierra Leone , Liberia , and the Gambia The WAEC grading system is the scale used by WAEC to determine the performance of students. WAEC has one general grading system for all the participating countries, Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Gambia ![]() The grading scales used by WAEC are A,B,C,D and F where A stands for Excellent, B2 stands for Very Good, B3 stands for good, C4 , C5 and C6 stands for Credit, D7 and E8 stand for Pass while F stands for Failure. Each of the grades has its own benchmarks. For example, a candidate that scored between 75% to 100% is given the grade of A while a student that scored between 0 to 44 is awarded F.
