  • Digital/payment platforms: Kuda, Paga, PalmPay, Interswitch, Etranzact, CoralPay, IQ Pay, SystemSpecs, Xpress Payment, Paycom, etc.

When you successfully make payment, you’ll receive a PIN — treat it like gold. You’ll need it to access the registration portal.

📝 How to Register (Step by Step)

  1. Pay & get your PIN
Use an approved bank or platform to pay the fee and obtain your registration PIN.
  2. Visit the WAEC GCE portal
Go to the WAEC registration site (waecdirect) and log in using your PIN.
  3. Have your NIN ready
Your National Identification Number (NIN) is required during registration.
  4. Declare special needs
If you have hearing, visual, or other impairments, specify them during registration.
  5. Complete the registration form
You have 2 weeks from your start date to finish registration. Double-check your name, gender, date of birth, photo, and subject choices. Once done, print your Admission Notice (also contains your Result Checker PIN).

⏰ Important Deadlines

  • Last day to obtain PIN: Friday, 3 October 2025
  • Final registration deadline: Sunday, 5 October 2025 (11:59 PM)

Miss those dates, and WAEC may not accept your registration.

❗ Rules That Can Void Your Result

WAEC takes cheating and misconduct seriously. Violating any of these may cost you:

  • Bringing unauthorized materials into the exam hall (phones, notes, etc.)
  • Copying, impersonation, or receiving help
  • Starting before time, tearing sheets, shouting
  • Helping others cheat
  • Posting exam content live online
  • Registering in two centers
  • Disrespecting exam staff, physical altercations
  • Using pencil instead of pen (where prohibited)
  • Destroying evidence of cheating

If caught, consequences range from cancellation of a subject to loss of the entire result, bans (1–2 years), or even police involvement.

✅ Pro Tips to Avoid Mistakes

  • Begin your registration early
  • Keep the PIN, Admission Notice, and Result PIN safe
  • Confirm all your personal info before submitting
  • Avoid last-minute changes
  • Adhere strictly to exam day rules
